The Venezuelan Patent and Trademark Office (SAPI) resumes trademark renewals in Venezuela.
As from September 18, 2023, the trademark renewal process begins for a new 15-year protection period. This renewal request may be made within six months prior to the expiration date of the trademark.
It is an ideal opportunity to review the trademark portfolio in order to update important aspects such as ownership, addresses, designs and classification of products and services, to adapt them to their current use.
